Marcus Shaw is one of the most stylish skateboarders to come up within Europe. Growing up in Scotland and moving to Norway, Marcus has magically navigated though the Lochs and Fjords of some of the most rugged terrain in the world. With an intuitive eye for design, éS offered Marcus the opportunity to create his own ACCEL Slim Mid and he what he created is a beautiful - a simplistic timeless design that provides inspiration and a peak into his world.

Growing up skating Marcus always loved éS and specifically the Accel. He wanted his shoe to be the ACCEL Slim Mid - the added ankle support and fresh looks were the perfect vibe.

His premium leather shoe has clean crisp whites with tonal off-whites, very similar to vintage basketball sneakers that discolour a little with good age. The clean accents bringing together a Scandinavian design vibe.

The 92 is not only his birth year, it’s a nod back to his early influences from the éS Sal 23 and how much of his aesthetic comes from the 90s inspiration.

MARCUS SHAW ACCEL SLIM MID

The Insoles and inner lining have the “Shaw of Tordarroch” tartan, a print from his own family’s Scottish heritage and the other half Norwegian. The Flags represent the dual nationality of these two iconic countries.

The clear gum tread provides improved grip and durability and rounds this shoe off to be one of the most beautiful ACCEL Slim Mids every created.
